Hello, and welcome to the Ron Smith State Farm office. I recently celebrated my 50th year as your local agent in Englewood, FL, having been with State Farm since 1974. Even after all these years, I love what I do and have no intention of retiring anytime soon. It is truly rewarding to be able to help my Good Neighbors protect themselves, their loved ones, and the things they care about most.

We proudly serve the state of Florida with a focus on our Good Neighbors in Charlotte and Sarasota counties. Nearby communities we serve include of Placida, Venice, Cape Haze, North Port, Rotonda West, and Port Charlotte.

If you live further away and can’t make it in person, we offer virtual appointments as well. In addition to helping people with insurance, I help support our local businesses through my involvement with the Englewood Chamber of Commerce. When I’m not in the office, you’ll probably find me playing golf, hiking, cheering on my favorite sports teams, or spending time with my loved ones. I am happily married with four grown children, eight grandkids, and two great-grandchildren who keep me motivated. I’m also a pet dad to three dogs; Cricket, Luke, and Ginger.
